HOTEL GENERAL MANAGER
SALARY :MARKET RELATED

LOCATION : DURBAN

  • Manage and coordinate guest relations to provide the highest standard of service
  • Take complete ownership of the hotel
  • Hands on role and will involve driving the operation from a service, business and marketing prospective
  • Includes all areas of the property, front office, housekeeping, maintenance and finance
  • Managing of staff which includes housekeeping, waitrons, security, kitchen
  • Check in and out of guests, book restaurants, tours, transfers, taxis etc
  • Check that rooms are 100 %
  • Breakfasts run smoothly and assist
  • Report and take action for any guest or client complaint or compliments
  • Assist with group arrivals
  • Assist with site inspections when required
  • Effective communication with all relevant departments or guests
  • Human Resources Management
  • Staff training and control
  • Laws, Regulations and Policies
  • Security, Health and Safety
