HOTEL GENERAL MANAGER
SALARY :MARKET RELATED
LOCATION : DURBAN
- Manage and coordinate guest relations to provide the highest standard of service
- Take complete ownership of the hotel
- Hands on role and will involve driving the operation from a service, business and marketing prospective
- Includes all areas of the property, front office, housekeeping, maintenance and finance
- Managing of staff which includes housekeeping, waitrons, security, kitchen
- Check in and out of guests, book restaurants, tours, transfers, taxis etc
- Check that rooms are 100 %
- Breakfasts run smoothly and assist
- Report and take action for any guest or client complaint or compliments
- Assist with group arrivals
- Assist with site inspections when required
- Effective communication with all relevant departments or guests
- Human Resources Management
- Staff training and control
- Laws, Regulations and Policies
- Security, Health and Safety
